Super Smash Bros: Brawl – T

October 6, 2009

Super smash bros brawl i s the only game i never get sick of.  It was the second T rated game i ever got, and the first one my mom didn’t know was rated T(I didn’t try to hide anything, I didn’t know it was rated T at the time either).  My mom wasn’t too thrilled on the rating, so it took a while to get her to let me get the game.  The game was rated T for cartoon violence and crude humor.

The violence is similar to that found in Saturday morning TV.  There is no blood, when characters “die” they simply fly off the screen and there is a flash of light.  All the characters always come back, so they don’t actually die.  The crude humor Is in reference to wario, who’s attack is to fart.

All in all, I’d recommend this game to everyone over ten.  The violence is ‘Tom and Jerry’ like.  The crude humor is farting(I believe most kids fart anyway).  And the game play is just plain fun.

Who I am

October 4, 2009

Hi, my name is Zack, but on the internet i go as freeplay4C.  I am a christian, raised in a strong christian family.  I have a mom, dad, and sister.  The only console my parents will let me have is a wii.  Neither of my parents play video games.  My sister play all types of games from FPS(first person shooter), to webkins.  I also play all types of video games.

The reason I created this blog is to talk about “age appropriate gaming”.  Most parents use the ESRB ratings to decide if they should let their children play video games.  I think Parents should be in complete control over what games their children play, but the ESRB rating isn’t the best thing to go by.

I hope this blog becomes useful to gamers and their parents.  I’ll be posting my thoughts on the ESRB system, as well as my ratings for games I play.  I’ll also put in some post on general teenage life from time to time.

Zack
